Browse our wide selection of Shiraz & Syrah Wines Online
You say Shiraz, I say Syrah – while they are technically the same thing, the difference lies in the style of the wine. The name Shiraz was coined by the Australians and refers to the bolder, riper, more intense wines from places like Barossa and McLaren Vale. The holy grail of Syrah is in the northern parts of France’s Rhone Valley, and many pundits (ourselves included) predict our own Waiheke Island and Hawkes Bay will be world leaders in this aromatic red variety.
