This special block was planted and tended in the lower Dashwood sub-region of the Awatere Valley. Sustainably farmed this low-cropping site is aptly named Gale Force and the tenacity of the vines produces concentrated flavour and intensity of character. Beautifully ripe fruit delivers aromas of pear drop, red apple skin and white flowers with a full-flavoured, deliciously balanced palate. Enjoy!
