In reality, Kumeu River has for many years been one of NZ's foremost flagbearers of quality, with all the wines it produces. But the incredible level of excellence they have consistently achieved for their Chardonnays over many years has gained not only Kumeu River an admirable and well-deserved reputation abroad but it has, by association, lent the entire country invaluable credibility as a source of serious quality wine and of much more than just Sauvignon Blanc.
